Events Calendar up and running (excuse the pun!)

After a few days working on the new system, we now have an Events Calendar on Athletics Track!
The Calendar allows users to add events of their own, view upcoming events, find the arena that the event is going to be at, check out the weather at the track and even find a hotel nearby should you be staying the night!
You can also mark that you are attending certain events so that other users can see who they are going to be up against in the upcoming competition. We are soon looking to get a private option set up so that users will be able to set up training sessions for their team only. We are also looking at creating a “My Calendar” page which will show only the events that you are attending. Invitations to events may be in the pipeline down the line also, but haven’t looked in to that yet.
