Discussion Boards

Following some input from users on the site, we have now implemented the idea of Discussion Boards on the website.

The Discussion Boards are essentially forums that you would find elsewhere around the internet.  They are in quite a basic format at the moment due to the early level of implementation, however they will get upgraded as they (hopefully) become more popular.  Sub sections will be implemented, search facilities, notifications etc, however for now, they just work on the basis or I post something, someone comments on it and I come back to see if anyone has commented and reply in turn.

We are also currently looking in to the possibility of implementing a calendar of events, along with a possible Directory of Athletics Tracks, however we think that it may be best to get in touch with the owners of www.runtrackdir.com and see if there is any scope for working together.  This is of course only an early possibility but we think this could be a good development.

Also, very proud to announce that we have got our first user from the USA on the website who is now starting to tell members of his college Track team to get involved with the site also, so that is a potential worldwide growth lead!
